Résumé :	The evolution of the spatial distribution of winged aphids colonizing sheltered (bocage) and unsheltered (open) potato fields was surveyed through yellow trays trapping : it was shown a hedge shelter effect with less catches to occur to leeward within a strip of about one time the hedge height in breadth ; on the contrary, a true edge effect was pointed out on the very edge of the unsheltered crops with accumulation of aphids on a breadth of approximately 5 to 10 mètres. A similar edge effect can be observed in unsheltered field as regards the apterous populations development but another maximum may occur at about 30 or 50 metres with in the crop, depending on the aphid species considered. Such differences between species can be noted in the « bocage» fields. The important natural control of the aphid populations by their parasites of the Aph idiid group is assessed in respect with environmental crop status and climatic factors.
