Use of glued coloured traps or a model with nylon threads showed the superiority of the last for heteropterans. This and its good results for the other groups make it a good tool for synecological investigations. Washing have been applied to ash leaves and Eriophyes fraxinivorus galls allowing the recognition of these as a focus for the multiplication of various predators, notably the anthocorids Orius sp.
